Request for Qualifications – City Engineering Services

The City of Wasco is seeking qualifications from professional firms for City Engineering services.  Scope of work to include providing professional engineering services regarding the design and review of City projects (including public works facilities and development) for a period of two (2) years with an option to extend the contract for one (1) additional one-year period.

To obtain a copy of the Request for Qualifications, please contact the City Clerk, Duviet Rodriguez at 661-758-7214.  Questions regarding the contents of this RFQ must be submitted in writing on or before 4 PM (PST) on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, and directed to Jeremy Bowman at jebowman@ci.wasco.ca.us. All questions will be answered and emailed to all firms listed on the RFQ holders list on Thursday, December 7, 2017.

Consultants shall submit (4) sealed Statement of Qualifications clearly marked RFQ – CITY ENGINEERING SERVICES to Ms. Duviet Rodriguez – City Clerk for the City of Wasco located at 746 8th Street, Wasco CA. 93280.  Proposals are due December 14, 2017, at 4:00 PM, no late proposals will be accepted.  Interviews may be conducted at the City’s discretion.

Award of the Contract, if awarded, will be made by the Wasco City Council within forty-five (45) days after receipt of proposals by the City of Wasco. The City will award this contract based on the best qualified proposer as determined by the City, under its sole and absolute discretion.

Roadway Safety Signs Upgrade Project HSIPL-5287 (046)

Project plans will be received at the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Wasco located at 746 8th Street, Wasco, CA, until 2:00p.m. on November 28, 2017 at which time they will be publicly opened and read.

The work to be done includes, but is not limited to the following: removal of approximately 12 signs and posts, removal and replacement of approximately 240 streets signs, 26 sign posts, 32 signs and posts, and other items of or details not mentioned above, that are required by typical construction, Standard Specifications or these special provisions.

A Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for November 14, 2017 at 9:00a.m., at WASCO City Hall located at 746 8th Street, WASCO, California.  This meeting is to inform bidders of project requirements and subcontractors of subcontracting and material supply opportunities.  Bidder’s attendance at this meeting will not be mandatory.

Plans, specifications and bid documents may be obtained for a NONREFUNDABLE FEE OF $30.00 per set from City of Wasco, 746 8th Street, Wasco, CA 93280, (661) 758-7215. An additional charge of ten dollars ($10.00) per set will be made for mailing.
