Festival of Roses

55% of all roses grown in the United States are grown in and around Wasco. Over 50 million plants are grown in the area by more than 9 major rose companies. The Wasco Festival of Roses is held every year on the first Saturday after Labor Day Weekend in September.

Festival Theme – 100 Years of Tradition WHS

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH EVENT:
Wasco Rose Queen Pageant starts at 6:00p.m.
at the Wasco High School Auditorium
Address:  1900 Seventh Street
Purchase tickets at the door beginning at 5pm ($15 each)

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11TH EVENT:
Honored Guest Reception –
An Evening of Wine & Roses
Veterans Memorial Building
Address:  1280 Poplar Avenue
Purchase tickets at the door ($20 each)

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12TH EVENTS:
Pancake Breakfast (7:30am-10am at 7th & Birch)

Parade (10am on 7th Street)

Arts & Craft & Food Fair (10am-6pm)
Art Show & Faire (Veterans Hall 11am-4pm)
BBQ Lunch (Veterans Hall 11:30am-2pm)
