6. HEARING FROM PUBLIC ON ITEMS NOT ON AGENDA - This portion of the
meeting is reserved for persons desiring to address the Commission on any matter not on this agenda and over which the Commission has jurisdiction. Speakers are limited to two (2) minutes. NONE
7. CONSENT CALENDAR
a) Approval of minutes for February 8, 2010 meeting
Commissioner Forrest made a motion to approve the consent calendar. Seconded by Commissioner Drescher. All in favor. Motion carried.
8. REPORT AND DISCUSSION ITEMS
a) General Plan Annual Report for the 2009 Planning Year
Director Allinder reported on the General Plan Annual Report for 2009 and asked for any questions from Commissioners. Director Allinder stated that the report would also be taken to the City Council form report and discussion by the Council and that no action needs to be taken by the Planning Commission but needs to be brought forward for deadline purposes.
Lengthy discussion by Commissioners on different development areas with staff explanations.
9. INFORMATION ITEMS
a) City Council Minutes
A question was raised on the Church project on the corner of Palm and Filburn; staff reported that City Council upheld the Planning Commission Decision.
b) Code Enforcement Report
c) Monthly Building Report
d) Project Status Report
10. PLANNING DIRECTOR'S REPORT
Director Allinder reported that staff is working with Comcate on developing the Code Enforcement monthly report easier to read. Also, the property located at Sunset and Poplar has been mailed an administrative citation by Code Enforcement.
LAFCO map is still not ready yet but will get them to Commissioners as soon as they are ready.
11. COMMISSIONERS COMMENTS
Commissioner Hutson asked what agency is involved in signs on Highway 99 and I-5 to show all of the new restaurants and hotel on Highway 46. Staff reported that Caltrans handles those signs.
Chairperson Santillan thanked staff.
12. ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner Hutson made a motion to adjourn. Seconded by Commissioner Drescher. All in favor. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
