The City of Wasco operates the Wasco Dial-A-Ride public transportation system. The system runs inside the Wasco city limits and will pick you up at your current location and drop you off at your destination. Dial-A-Ride hours of operation are as follows:
Monday through Friday: 8:00AM to 4:30PM
Call 30 to 45 minutes before you need to be at your destination.
One-way fares for the Dial-A-Ride system are as follows:
Adult (within Wasco) $1.75
Adult (Golf Course & State Prison) $2.00
Seniors (62 & older)/Disabled $1.00
Youth (5 to 10 years) $1.00
Children (0 to 4 years) $0.25
Seniors & Disabled discount
Pass Rate (11-rides) $10.00
Adults (11 to 61 years)
Pass Rate (13- rides) $15.00

Dial-A-Ride Transit Service Passenger Rules:
1. All passengers must have exact fare
2. DAR cannont operate outside City limits
3. DAR is a "door-to-door" service.
4. Call 30 to 45 minutes before you need to be at your destination
5. All Passengers must remain in their seats while the bus is in motion
6. No large objects are allowed on the bus that will block the walkway, or that you cannot hold on you lap.
If items take up another seat, there is an additional charge at passenger rate.
7. No transporting of passengers that do not practice proper hygene, or dirty laundry.
8. No large strollers or personal shopping carts are allowed on the bus. Only umbrella style strollers may be used, and stowed in passenger compartment directly under your seat or in front of your legs.
9. Children under the age of 5 must be accompanied by a responisble adult at all times.
10. No eating or drinking while on the bus.
11. No combustable material/containers are allowed on the bus.
12. No Smoking on the bus.
13. No offensive items or language on the bus.
