SPECIAL MEETING
May 25, 2010

1) CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Espitia called the joint meeting to order at 4:00p.m.
2) FLAG SALUTE: Mayor Espitia led the flag salute.
3) ROLL CALL
Present: Espitia, Hively, Wegman, West
Absent: Cortez
Also Present: Zervis, Allen, Allinder, Wren, Hight
4) COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE: none
5) Review and Discussion of the Draft Budget by Fund.
City Manager Zervis gave an over view of the creation of the budget, the revenue sources and the projected expenditures.
There was conversation regarding line items and projected funding and expenditures.
6) Review of changes to be incorporated into the 3rd Draft Budget.
There was discussion regarding the continued funding of the Wasco Chamber of Commerce and the Wasco Festival of Roses.
Mayor Espitia adjourned to closed session at 5:01p.m.
Mayor Pro Tem Hively reconvened regular meeting at 5:35p.m.
Mayor Espitia left council chambers at 5:35p.m.
7) CLOSED SESSION
a) Government Code Section 54956.9 (a): Pending Litigation.
McIntosh v. City of Wasco
City Manager Zervis stated that no reportable action was taken during closed session.
8) ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Pro tem Hively made a motion to adjourn at 5:36, 2nd by Member West. All in favor,
motion carried 3-0-2 Espitia and Cortez absent.
