1) CALL TO ORDER Mayor West called the meeting to order at 12:15
2) FLAG SALUTE
3) ROLL CALL: Mayor West, Members Espitia and Wegman
Absent: Members Cortez and Hively
City Attorney T Schroeter
4) COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE: none
Member Hively arrived at 12:18 p.m.
5) Report and Possible Approval, RE: Awarding a Contract for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Centrifuge Project to Steve Dovali Construction. (Allen)
Public Works Director Allen referred the item to the City Attorney.
Attorney Schroeter reported that the award of the bid to Dovali Construction is under review at the bidder's request. Dovali Construction has submitted a letter to the City requesting to be removed from the award stating his bid was submitted with major omissions and errors.
Attorney Schroeter stated that time is of the essence to award the bid to meet the funding deadline; therefore he recommended adjourning this meeting to a convenient time next week to allow staff to complete the review and compile a recommendation for the bid award.

7) ADJOURNMENT: Member Hively made a motion to adjourn to September 10, 2009 at 12:20 p.m. 2nd by Member Espitia. Motion carried meeting adjourned to September 10. 2009 at 12:20p.m.
