1) CALL TO ORDER: Mayor West called the special meeting to order at 8:34 p.m.

3) ROLL CALL: Mayor West, Members Cortez, Espitia, Hively, and Wegman
4) COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE: None
5) Report and Possible Approval, RE: 09-2639 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WASCO AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO COOPERATE WITH THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES, OTHER CITIES AND COUNTIES IN LITIGATION CHALLENGING THE CONSTITUTIONALITY OF ANY SEIZURE BY STATE GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY'S STREET MAINTENANCE FUNDS. (Zervis)
Assistant City Manager Zervis gave a brief report and recommended that the City of Wasco join other cities in the challenge.
Mayor West asked for comments, hearing none, Member Cortez made a motion to approve, 2nd by Member Hively. Motion carried with the following vote:
AYES: Mayor West, Members Hively, Espitia, Cortez and Wegman
NOES: NONE
ABSTAIN: NONE
ABSENT: NONE
City Clerk Hight read the resolution title.

7) ADJOURNMENT Member Cortez made a motion to adjourn the special meeting at 8:38 p.m. 2nd by Member Wegman. All in favor, special meeting adjourned.
