1) CALL TO ORDER Mayor Wegman called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.

Mayor Wegman, Members: Espitia, Hively, West
Absent: Member Cortez
Others Present: City Manager Mittag, City Attorney Plaza, City Clerk Hight, Finance Director Zervis, Community Development Director Heiser, Deputy Director Public Works Wren
4) COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE: None
5) Report and Possible Approval, RE: Beckes Street Reconstruction Funding and Contract Authorization.
Deputy Public Works Director Wren recommended that the City Council authorize the transfer of funds from the Gas Tax Fund to the Street Construction Fund for the reconstruction of Beckes from Krista Street to Poso Avenue and authorize the City Manager to execute a construction contract with Burtch Construction for said work in an amount not to exceed $26,000.
Member West asked who would be performing the tear out. Staff answered that it would be a local contractor.
Member West made a motion to approve, 2nd by Member Espitia. Motion carried with a 4-0-1 vote. Member Cortez absent.
6) CLOSED SESSION: Member West made a motion to move into closed session at 4:10 p.m.2nd by Member Hively
Townsend Well: Threatened Litigation, Government Code Section 54956.9(c) and 54956.9(b)(3)(E).
Mayor Wegman reconvened the special meeting at 5:10 p.m.
Attorney Plaza reported that Counsel had received specific direction and will proceed.
7) ADJOURNMENT: Member Hively made a motion to adjourn at 5:11, 2nd by Member Espitia. Motion carried 4-0-1 Member Cortez absent.
