MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING
JUNE 14 2005
1. CALL TO ORDER- Mayor Wegman called the meeting to order at 6:04 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL- Present: Mayor Wegman, Council Members Pearson, Espitia & Cortez, City Manager Pennell, City Clerk Gibson, Executive Secretary Krause, City Attorney Peake, Finance Director Wooner, Finance Specialist Mosqueda, Public Works Director Jones and Engineer Wren. Councilmember West was absent.
3. NEW BUSINESS- a) Review and possible minute action, re: Proposed budget for fiscal year 2005-2006- PowerPoint presentations were made by Finance Director Wooner for the following Department/Funds:
Public Works- Street, Code Compliance, Transit, TDA (Local), Landscaping and Lighting Maintenance District, Street Construction & Capital Improvements.
Special Funds- Traffic Safety, Traffic Impact, MIS, Shop Maintenance, Emergency Response.
Enterprise- Wastewater Treatment, Water, Sanitation
Grants- Supplemental Law Enforcement (C.O.P.S.) School Community Policing Partnership, Universal Hiring (C.O.P.S.), Universal Hiring (C.O.P.S. in Schools)
Housing- 91-93 CDBG, Cal Home, CHFA, 2003 CDBG, 2004 Cal Home, 2004 CDBG, 2005 Cal Home, Misc. Grants
4. ADJOURNMENT- 8:32 p.m. Motion by Councilmember Espitia, 2nd by Councilmember Cortez.
